How the Fuel Cost Calculator works
Fuel required = Total distance ÷ Vehicle mileage
Fuel cost = Fuel required × Fuel price
For a round trip, the entered one-way distance is multiplied by two before calculating fuel and cost.
Example: If you travel 300 km, your vehicle gives 15 km/L and fuel costs ₹100/L, the estimated one-way fuel requirement is 20 litres and the estimated cost is ₹2,000.
